Dad's website

11-07-2024

Notice how Dad's site is very pleasant to look at. Everything is as uniform and as well-organized as possible to make the site look pleasing to the eye. The light gray background is easier on the eyes, and headers, bolds, and all caps are used to bring out things like dates. The spacing is just right. The code itself is very organized and is merciful on the coder. Look at the source code of his website and figure out how to add those desirable traits to this website.

Notes_On_Webpage_Design.html is looking cluttered. Seems rather ironic for a webpage talking about how to style a webpage. Find out how to simplify it (perhaps wtih a table. Can a table have an ordered list that spans multiple cells? Dad says yes)

Using the style of width:800px is not mobile friendly. This paragraph instead is using max-width:800px. We shall see how it turns out. Seems like it does not do what I would think it would do. Its application must be elsewhere. Wait a minute. Actually it's working on the browser, but not the web editor. Hmm... I wonder if it would work on other browsers. Works on Microsoft Edge. Must ask Dad if this is okay. (Dad says it's okay. Yes!)
