How To Make Instant Mashed Potatoes in 4 Steps

Step 1: Warm some water in a teakettle or pan without boiling it. Put in 3/8 cup of water per serving of potatoes you want.

Step 2: Add potato flakes to a bowl. Put in 1/3 cup of potato flakes per serving you want.

Step 3: Add butter, salt and (optionally) seasonings to the bowl.

Step 4: Pour warmed water into the bowl. Stir well and serve warm.
